The Keep Local Alive movement was launched to help small business owners in response to the COVID shutdowns. What started in one city slowly turned into two, then the following and impact snowballed from there. It inspired the founders to lay the groundwork to launch the movement in cities across the country.
The MOVEment enables locals to rally around their local businesses in ways that have real, tangible impact. It is a message, a framework, and a set of tools that empower entire communities to support their most valuable assets: small businesses.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Keep Local Alive is a MOVEment that combines a message with actual tools, resources, and most importantly, passionate local people who want to keep their communities vibrant through supporting the locally-owned, independent businesses.
It starts with a message but ends in ACTION
SOCIAL MEDIA ENGINE + LOCAL PEOPLE WHO CARE
It starts by launching a localized framework and social media engine. We then build a tribe of local-minded consumers who want to get involved. From there, local influencers are activated as Ambassadors and we start "Boosting" businesses weekly. Finally, we launch a co-marketing directory platform where all the local businesses can band together to enable locals to discover and support their local gems.
Locally-owned (owner actually lives in the community), independent (not part of a franchise or corporation) businesses.
